Tokueiji Temple

The map is displayed on an enlarged scale

In the Honnoji War, as Tokugawa Ieyasu hurriedly passed through Iga to return to Okazaki, he stopped to rest at this Jodoshu temple, and as an expression of gratitude, he is said to have later allowed the temple to use his family crest, the Aoi no Mon. Also, it is the burial place of the Fukuchishi clan that defected to Oda Nobunaga during the Tensei Iga War.
